- Q- What is a Notary Public?

- Q- Why are documents notarized?
A: To deter fraud, the notary, as an impartial witness, verifies the identities of the signatories and makes sure the signatories have entered into the agreement knowingly and willingly.

- Q- Can you notarize documents that contain blanks?
A: No, we cannot notarize a document that is incomplete or contains blanks.

- Q- Do I have to appear personally to receive notarization of my documents?
A: A: Yes. You should personally appear before the Notary at the time of notarization. However, if you have a "Subscribing Witness," the "Subscribing Witness" must witness the signing of the document and must be known personally by the Notary Person.
